Privacy notice
Last updated June 2026
This website (tommason.co) is the personal site of Tom Mason, founder of AwarenessAI, based in Leeds, United Kingdom. This notice explains the limited personal data involved when you use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.
Who is responsible
Tom Mason is the data controller for this site. You can reach me at tom@awarenessai.co.uk.
What this site collects
The site is largely static. It does not require an account, and it does not store form submissions on this website. The contact page works by opening your own email application with a pre-filled message that you choose to send — your details are not saved here in the process.
Information you send by email
If you contact me by email — directly or via the contact page — I process the contents of your message to respond and, where relevant, to follow up about work. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed for that purpose and for reasonable record-keeping.
Third-party links
This site links to external services such as AwarenessAI, LinkedIn, Waterstones and YouTube. Once you follow a link, those services handle any data under their own privacy policies, which I do not control.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may ask me to:
- access the personal data I hold about you;
- correct or delete it; or
- object to or restrict how it is used.
Email me to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
Changes
This notice may be updated from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent version.
